The Annual ~ “Worldwide Children’s Eucharistic Holy Hour”

“I am deeply grateful for the many good efforts of the World Apostolate of Fatima and, in particular, I think of the many graces that come to so many young people through the Children’s Program. It is my hope and my prayer that each of the children who participate in this Holy Hour will be ambassadors of Jesus Christ to other young people and to the world.”
Pope Benedict XVI February 8th ~ 2007 |

"My Dear Young Friends,
It is to your prayers that I entrust the problems of your own family and all the families of the world.”
Pope John Paul II ~ Christmas Letter to the
World’s Children |
"Our Holy Father (Pope John Paul II) asks me to convey his prayerful good wishes for the Children’s Day of Prayer to be celebrated on the 7th of October 2004."
Archbishop Harry Flynn September 28th ~ 2004 |

"Fatima’s “Angel of Peace” appeared to the three little shepherds in 1917, and convened the first “Children’s Holy Hour.” Quickly they would become students in the “School of the Immaculate Heart of Mary,” and apostles of prayer and sacrifice. God used these small children to renew the Gospel message of repentance and call the world back, through Mary, to His Son."
| Most Reverend Robert W. Finn D.D. |
“I
give thanks to Jesus and His Blessed Mother, Our Lady of Fatima, for the presence
of so many children gathered in adoration before the Blessed Sacrament in the
National Basilica in Washington DC. May God and our Lady so bless the hearts
of all these children that they will respond generously to the invitation of
Jesus to go and make disciples of all the Nations."
International Secretary General of the Holy Childhood Association, Father Patrick
Byrne |
Sixth Worldwide Children’s Holy Hour
"His
Eminence, Sean Cardinal O’Malley has asked me to acknowledge his receipt of
your recent letter sent with enclosures concerning the School Children’s Eucharistic
and Marian Holy Hour, and to reply on his behalf.
It is good to know of the Holy Hour planned at the National Shrine on October 6th…with the help of God and through the intercession of our Blessed Mother, may the children of the world indeed be gathered in the presence of the Eucharistic Lord to pray for families."

"…As I write these words, I am watching through the Eternal Word Television
Network, the children of the world bowing profoundly before Jesus in the Blessed
Sacrament, in the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washing ton
DC. and to know that they are being joined by children worldwide, including
in my own diocese fills me with an overwhelming, inner joy! Could there be anything
more beautiful than this?...
